The Interior Plains
the region of the prairies
The Interior Plains region covers this much of canada. It covers: Parts of the Yukon, a part of British Columbia, parts of Manitoba, most of Alberta, and some of Saskatchewan.
Physical Features
In the Interior plains, most of the land is flat, or has rolling hills. However, all of the land is fertile. The highest land is on the foothills. You may say that the Rocky Mountains are the highest point of land. Sorry, but that's the Cordillera Region. Instead of me doing a kajillion paragraphs, I will cheat a little and just do a list. And do listen to the sign......NOT!
ATTENTION! BORING SERIOUS STUFF AHEAD!
- rocks
-silt
-gravel
-sand
-lakes
-rivers
- cliffs
-trees
-fields
-hills[flat and rolling.]
